In this class, we will learn how to fix mistakes in cable designs. I will also teach how to knit cables without cable needles.
Required knowledge: basic knit and purl stitches, basic cables, working charts flat and in the round
Materials:
- Small skeins of yarn for swatching. The yarns should be preferably DK or worsted weight merino or other smooth fibers with good stitch definition in a light, unicolor colorway, so you can easily see your stitches
- Needles suitable for the yarn, for example, US 2.5 or US 4 needles.Suggested 16 cables, DPNS or longer cables
- A cable needle or an extra DPN in the same size or slightly smaller
Homework:
A cable pattern will be provided before the course with some mistakes.
