This year’s Plaid Friday will be a little different due to COVID-19 restrictions. Our small business community knows that we can provide a quieter and safer environment for shopping on this day than your big box stores. Here at fibre space, only five customers will be permitted in the shop at a time to shop. You will be provided a number upon arrival so that you can hang out in our outdoor lounge or your car while waiting to shop!
WHAT EXACTLY IS PLAID FRIDAY?
The name Plaid Friday comes from the idea of weaving the individual threads of small businesses together to create a unique fabric that highlights the diversity and creativity of independent shops.
During our Plaid Friday event, we hope to create a pleasurable and leisurely experience for you while you shop for friends and family. And, if you happen to pick up a few things for yourself, we’ll never tell!
Join us in Old Town the day after Thanksgiving, and enjoy great discounts, merriment and good cheer, all while shopping small and supporting local businesses.
