Slip into 2026 with our annual New Year’s Day Cast On !

It’s time for Danielle’s annual New Year’s Day Cast On! This year, we will greet the new year by taking the time to reset, refocus, and work on some cozy stitching for ourselves on New Year’s Day. Our NYD Cast On is all about slipping into 2026 in the most comforting way possible: with some warm slippers! We’ve gathered some cozy slipper projects for both knitters and crocheters, ranging from beginner-friendly patterns to intermediate designs featuring intricate colorwork and cables. If you’re feeling really adventurous, you could even try felting or thrumming!

How do I join?

Pick a pattern from below and join us on New Year’s Day in our second-floor lounge to cast on! No registration is needed, and it’s completely free.

What are your hours on New Year’s Day?

We are open from 10 am – 4 pm, so stop by to swatch or cast on for your first self-care project of 2026. Olga will also be there from 12 – 4 pm to help you get started on her newest pattern, too!
