Instead of meeting up at the shop on New Year’s Day to cast on together for a new project and ring in the new year, we will be virtually casting on together from the safety of our homes. Slip into 2021 with this mosaic slip stitch cowl project – Montana Mountain Cowl by Andrea Mowry. It is a Moebius cowl and perfect for colorwork, as the floats will be hidden inside the tube, and not within view. We’ve created some beautiful kits for the project. Here are the full details:

Materials:

• One fibre space Montana Mountain kit:
  • curated color pairing of 2 skeins Spincycle Dyed in the Wool (sport weight, 100% superwashed American wool, 200 yards per skein) and 2 skeins BC Garn Semilla Melange (sport weight, 100% organic GOTS certified wool, 191 yards per skein)
• Size US 5 (3.75 mm) 16”circular needle (a second needle of the same size will be needed to finish the cowl)
