We love serving as your local safe space for string, and this annual event (hosted by our trade association) is when we come together to celebrate what we’ve built together. This year, we are delighted to be featuring the yarns of Jill Draper Makes Stuff! Jill Draper sources and dyes 100% USA wool, from sheep-to-skein. We will be hosting a trunk show of designs in her yarns, a fresh restock of favorites like Kingston, as well as some other yarn bases to try. We’ll host a sampling station of her fibres, and have a gift with every purchase of her yarn!
Bag swap!
Bring a bag, take a bag. Tired of the project bag pile in your closet? Freshen it up at our bag swap this year! Starting now, bring in 1-2 project bags (no simple totes please) to donate to our bag swap that we will host on LYS Day. Make sure they’re clean please! We will provide you with a coupon to use on LYS Day to take home a fresh bag from the donation pile OR 20% off a new (non-leather) yarn or needle storage item at the shop.
Any bags leftover at the end of the swap will be donated to Project Knitwell, or saved for future Furloughed Stitchers.
Side note…
White they don’t qualify for the bag swap, if you have retro fibre space totes that you’d like to get out of your house, this is the day! We will donate them to future shoppers who need a bag at check out.
