Local Yarn Store Day 2025

Local Yarn Store Day is one of our most exciting days every year! It was created by our national trade association to celebrate and support locally owned retail yarn shops.

This year, we are delighted to be hosting a special brand feature: Our LYS Day will focus on the amazing Wooldreamers and their support of small Spanish farmers!

Wooldreamers is a yarn with a big dream behind it. Based in Castilla- La Mancha, Spain, Wooldreams is the dream of Ramón Cobo. After a lifetime in the textile industry, Cobo sought a world where natural fibers took over from the convenience of synthetic fibers. In this world, the entire process of wool, from sheep and shepherd to the shop, is part of the journey. Every step of that process is focused on the well-being of the sheep, the environmental impact of our fibre industry, and supporting the small Spanish farms that raise these Merino flocks.
