- Approximately 440 yards of bulky yarn (4 different colors, 110 yards each). We recommend Manos del Uruguay Cardo, de Rerum Natura Cyrano, Spincycle Plump, or Woolfolk Luft
- US K-10 (6.5mm) crochet hook, or size to obtain gauge
- Locking stitch markers, scissors, tapestry needle, measuring tape
- A copy of the Retro Cardo Scarf pattern by Manos del Uruguay
