Learn to work in the round and make your first hat!
Two 2-hour classes meeting weekly on same day of the week.
Skills needed:
The ability to knit and purl is required.

- Join to work in the round
- Increasing and decreasing
- Refresh your knowledge of casting on
- Working in the round on circular and double-pointed needles
Materials:
- 1 ball of De Rerum Natura Cyrano, or 1-2 balls Spincycle Plump
- Stitch marker
- US#9 (5.5 mm) circular 16″ or a set of double pointed needles (for ribbing)
- US#11 (8 mm) circular 16″and a set of double pointed needles (for hat body)

**Note: interchangeable needles are not appropriate for hats unless you have a hat-specific interchangeable set that includes shorter tips and shorter cords to accommodate the small circumference of a hat.
