Learn to work in the round and make your first hat!
Two 2-hour classes meeting weekly on same day of the week.
Skills needed:
The ability to knit and purl is required.
Skills learned:
- Join to work in the round
- Increasing and decreasing
- Refresh your knowledge of casting on
- Working in the round on circular and double-pointed needles
Materials:
- One ball of De Rerum Natura Gilliatt or 230 yards of worsted-weight yarn.
- Ring marker
- US#7 (4.5 mm) 16” circular needle and double-pointed needles
- Copy of Favorite Simple Hat pattern
**Note: Interchangeable needles are not appropriate for hats unless you have a hat-specific interchangeable set that includes shorter tips and shorter cords to accommodate the small circumference of a hat.
