Whether you are making holiday gifts or looking for a great list of projects for yourself, I have a solid round up of my favorite fingerless mitts / handwarmers for you! These are my go to projects for adults and children:
1. Fingerless Gloves crochet pattern by Maaike van Koert

Recommended yarn:
The pair at our shop are made using Neighborhood Fiber Co Studio Sock! They would also be snuggly soft in Woolfolk Tynd or Sno.
2. Welted Fingerless Mitts by Churchmouse Yarns
Recommended yarn:
The pattern is designed for Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend, which we have available at the shop. It would make soft and delicate mitts!
3. Spate by Jane Richmond

Recommended yarn:
I have made many versions of this pattern in Neighborhood Fiber Co Studio Worsted. Other great hand dye options are the Fibersists Audubon Worsted or Hazel Knits Cadence. For a woolly version, try Jo Sharp Aran Tweed or Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok.
4. Ametrine Mitts by Mandy Powers
I’ve had these mitts on my list for awhile! They use sport weight yarn and would be amazing in Lux Adorna Cashmere paired with Spincycle Dyed in the Wool, which will stripe and eliminate the need for several different colors of yarn.
5. Maize by tincanknits
This pattern is one of my go to patterns for kids mitts, which means that I usually use a machine washable Merino for something both soft and durable. I’d recommend one of our washables: the Fibersits Audubon Worsted, Hazel Knits Cadence or leftovers of NFC Studio Worsted.
