Have you always wondered what to do with that funky art yarn you picked up at a craft show? Have you fallen in love with those hand spun fibers but wondered what you would make with them? This retreat will explore some common traits in handspun yarns, as well as some basic properties of fibers. You will learn to harness the uniqueness of handspuns by testing various stitch patterns in this workshop. This retreat will give you a cache of ideas for knitting with unique handspuns – don’t miss out!
Join Knit-a-Gogo at this unique retreat where you will sample three mini skeins of hand spun yarn and three mini cupcakes from Hello cupcake! You will also receive a full skein of handspun yarn hot off Molly’s spinning wheel, with which you can make a complete scarf project after the workshop.
