Just landed: The new Blue Sky Fibers

Blue Sky has officially said goodbye to “Alpacas” — at least as a part of their moniker. Now you’ll find the same amazing yarn under the more well-rounded Blue Sky Fibers. Naturally, along with this name change comes a brand new yarn. Welcome, Woolstok.

Woolstok is a traditional — yet soft — worsted weight wool that comes in a full rainbow of colors, has excellent stitch definition and is easy to work with.

Woolstok yarn details:

  • 100% Fine Highland Wool
  • 123 yards/50 grams OR 370 yards/150 grams (natural colors only)
  • 5-6 stitches per inch on US 6-11 needles
  • Hand wash only
  • $7.50 per skein (and $21.50 for the jumbo hanks!)
