One of my two favorite yarns from Hazel Knits is baaaaack! Piquant Lite is a 9 ply, 90% merino/10% nylon yarn in fingering weight. It is 400 yards and built tough for some long-lasting, and seriously beautiful socks and gloves! It is $26 per skein.
The colors in this order are: Queen of the Night, Lipstick, Daphne, Bloom, Carnelian, Zest, Lichen, Aquarius, Jay Blue, Blueberry, Cornflower, Terrywinkle, Primrose, Portobello, Sassafras, Silhouette, Shady Verdant and Heartthrob.
Pattern Inspiration
When the last shipment arrived, I grabbed a skein of Lichen to make a pair of Olga’s Tabi Mittens, which are great for driving, pushing a stroller around town and texting! Make them with our conductive thread in the fingers and you can text even in the cold.
This yarn is perfect for sock knitting, and this is by far my favorite pattern designed in this yarn – Surrender, Dorothy!
And for shawl excitement, I am itching to get Duane Park Triangle on the needles!
