So as you know, Pantone picks a Color of the Year every year to be the new hot thing in fashion, beauty, industrial design, home furnishings and interiors, and yep, the yarn industry too!

Last year’s color was Radiant Orchid, before that we had Emerald, in 2012 there was Tangerine Tango, and so on.

For 2015 the new color is Marsala, “a naturally robust and earthy wine red.” Yum!

It joins the rest of the spring colors Pantone picked to follow their “en plein air” theme – minimalist and nature-inspired.

We’re already thinking of color pairings and projects to make the most of this gorgeous new color!
