Every once in awhile, a yarn comes in that has so much SQUISH that I can barely put it down. High Plains from Jill Draper Makes Stuff is here and it has the most amazing squish.
Jill Draper is one of our favorite hand-dyers, focusing on American-made yarns from sheep to skein! The fibre for this special yarn is sourced from one ranch in Montana, and the Merino from their flock of sheep is immensely soft and super fine. The fibre is worsted-spun into a fingering weight to make Jill Draper’s High Plains. Be sure to read Clara Parkes full story of the origin of this yarn.
