We are in the mood for spooky season, with Halloween in a few days! The Petite Knitter’s new Cattoween sweater and cowl are the perfect projects to transition into shorter days and cooler weather—and keep some black cat and total moon vibes beyond October 31. The design for both pullover and cowl features light and dark cats wrapped in a yin-yang, to represent balance (and to honor the designer’s two favorite cats). The pullover features a top-down circular yoke construction and has options for fit, sleeves, and length. The cowl is reversible, so you can switch the MC and CC inside and outside. Both are great projects for practicing your colorwork skills!
The patterns use WoolDreamers Cautiva, 100% Spanish wool sport weight yarn (202 yards/50 grams). We proudly stock this amazing yarn in our ALX shop and on our web store. We also recommend De Rerum Natura Ulysse (100% wool, 202 yards / 50 grams), which is also available in the shop and online.
