Has the recent cool weather got you thinking of fall knitting projects?
We’ve got some brand new yarns for fall that just arrived in the shop and more on the way!

From Berroco we have Abode, a soft 100% merino aran weight yarn with a thick and thin texture and a “printed” effect that lets the natural color of the wool show through the dye for a mottled tonal effect. (Come check out the sample garment we have in the shop window!)

Try the free Leatherleaf sweater pattern from Berroco (you’ll need 10-18 skeins), or knit up a snuggly Big Herringbone Cowl with 5 skeins (there’s a gorgeous project done in Adobe on Ravelry!)

Also from Berroco is Lustra, a shimmering single-ply worsted weight blend of Peruvian wool and Tencel. Generous 197 yard skeins mean you need less to finish a project!

The cute Silverman jacket is a free pattern from Berroco – you need 4-6 skeins of two colors. The Lexeme cardigan on the cover of the pattern book (we’ve got it in stock!) takes 5-9 skeins.

Next up is Sublime Luxurious Aran Tweed, a chunky weight blend of cotton, wool, and baby llama. This soft and tweedy single-ply will be great for fall & winter projects – at 109 yards you can make a simple hat with one ball!

This would be gorgeous for a cardigan like Iced (6 – 11 balls), Literati (9-17 balls) or a cute baby Snug (3 balls).

The Luxurious Aran Tweed Handknit Book from Sublime (in the store now!) has 25 great patterns for men, women, and kids. Come in and check it out!

Also in aran weight we’ve got Debbie Bliss Milano, a blend of wool, nylon, silk, and acrylic with a unique tweedy wrapped texture! You can use this interchangeably with Luxurious Aran Tweed so you’ll have plenty of patterns to choose from. (We’ve got the pattern book for this yarn too!)

The Crossover Jacket on the cover takes 12- 15 balls. Check out this beautiful hat someone knit in Milano on Ravelry!
There are more fall and winter yarns on the way, so stay tuned!
