Crafting their needles in Japan from carefully selected mōsō bamboo, an especially hard and resilient variety with excellent luster, Seeknit’s team of skilled artisans meticulously finish each piece to create long lasting, high-quality fibre tools. After going through a unique high temperature and pressure treatment, each needle is carefully polished with natural plant wax for extra durability. The time required from bamboo harvesting to final product can vary, with some items taking over six months to complete.
Seeknit’s Curve interchangeable needles have a seamless stainless steel swivel join, with a gentle curve that allows your yarn to slide easily from needle to cord for fast, effortless stitching. The “Koshitsu” wax finish is sleek and smooth, so your yarn doesn’t stick to it, nor slide off by accident.
