Check out Allison’s FO this week – the Realta Pullover by Andrea Gaughan! This #FOFriday would be amazing knit up in Laxton’s SheepSoft Aran or De Rerum Natura Gilliatt. Both of these imported yarns are fully traceable, making them such a special choice for this sweater. Don’t forget you can share your FO’s with us, tag our account and use #fibrespaceFO to enter to win our monthly giveaway! #finishedobjectfriday #finishedobject #dererumnaturagilliatt #laxtonssheepsoft #laxtonsyarn #dererumnatura #andreagaughan #realtapullover #shopalxva #otboutiques
If you`ve seen some new faces in space, you`ve probably met our newest Yarnistas, Monica & Jenna! Monica was inspired to pick up stitching by a coworker while on a boat in Alaska, beginning her stitching journey with crochet. She started knitting last year and loves projects with fun textures. Jenna first picked up needles as a kid and then taught herself to crochet during lockdown. You might find her stitching in her favorite Old Town coffee shop when she`s not in space. Help us welcome our newest Yarnistas to space!

Thank you @aishvaryakavi and @carolinegutman from the @nytimes for highlighting how our community took care of our local federal workers!
Just Landed! Jill Draper Amalgam
Amalgam is made in 4 variations, named for their varying amounts of Targhee & Welsh Mountain Black wool that blend to give their color. Ranging from 100% Targhee in the white Amalgam 1 to 24% Targhee in their deepest shade, Amalgam 4. This yarn is bouncy and round, retaining quite a bit of lanolin which makes it a dream to knit. Check out what we`re stitching up!

Thank you to @aishvaryakavi, @carolinegutman, and @nytimes for highlighting the small business community’s support of our federal workers. To our community, thank you all for supporting our team and all those who joined us for some time in space these last few weeks. To our volunteer teachers, we couldn’t have done this without you, you are incredible. The fibre community is a special one and I’m grateful we can show up for each other, one stitch at a time!
