Must Make Monday: the Nell Pullover in Kokon Bleu Organic Fingering

The Nell pullover is in our queues because we love its delicate but unfussy style! It is perfect to show off our latest yarn in space, Kokon Bleu Organic Fingering. (You can read more about the story behind Kokon Bleu here, or about the dyes and yarn bases here!) This non-superwash yarn is 100% organic Merino; its softness will emphasize the drape but will still hold the clean lines of the tunic body and Henley neckline.

And let’s talk about those sleeves! The stylish 3/4-length bishop sleeves feature a fair-isle style detail on the upper arm that adds a little flair to this elegant top. Kokon Bleu Organic Fingering yarn is great for colorwork, especially when it comes to coordinating different dyes of the same shade.

We can see the Nell tunic with a combination of the Bleu Semi-solid with the Bleu Speckles base, for a deep navy fair isle motif and a lighter background. You could also try out O-Bleu or Jean-Michel for other combinations, or flip the main and contrast colors for a dark background and lighter colorwork. Toss it on with jeans or tuck it loosely into a skirt or trousers for a comfortable but elegant look.
