Just Landed: Direct from sunny Portugal, lightweight plant fibre yarns of Rosários 4!

In an effort to find amazing yarns for better prices, our shop owner started looking for producers in Europe that she could directly work with, rather than importing through a distributor in the US. She found an incredible maker in Portugal for high quality and sustainably produced workhorse yarns: Rosários 4! This family-run company is well known in Europe for its high-quality yarns in a variety of fibres.

About Rosários 4

The company initially started as a wool dyer in the 1970’s and then expanded into a spinning mill for handknitting yarns in the 80s. Thirty years later, Rosários 4 now produces a huge line of yarns in an environmentally conscious way. They are committed to reducing their environmental footprint and have even created their own industrial wastewater treatment plant to reduce water usage, among other efforts. The company is also Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)-certified.

For the summer heat, our first shipment from Rosários 4 is all cotton!
