Must Make Monday: Matilda Tee

Must Make Monday: Matilda Tee

Spring has sprung in the Washington, D.C. region, and there’s no putting that particular genie back in the bottle. Warmer days are here to stay, and fresh flowers bloom around every corner (including the lovely cherry blossoms that graced us with their beauty last week).

D.C. is shown to its best advantage this time of year, and we yarnistas find ourselves outside as much as the weather allows. The Matilda tee is the perfect weekend walking-around sweater. A little bit of lace gives a playfully feminine effect to the color blocking. Knit in WoolDreamers Saona, it’s the perfect 3 season sweater. Saona is a blend of cotton and wool, offering the temperature-regulating effects of merino alongside one of our favorite warm-weather fibers. Knit bottom up to the short rows that shape the neckline, with the lace joined via a three-needle bind-off, this sweater is a welcoming design for even adventurous beginners. Come check out what color combo suits you best!
