Just Landed: Cool and Colorful Sea Change Shoreline Sport Wool, Silk, and Linen Blend

Stunning colors, incredible fibres, and a small woman-owned business dedicated to making change? Yes, please. When we first saw and felt Sea Change Fibers’ Shoreline Sport, a Wool-Linen-Silk blend in the company’s signature saturated hues, we knew you would love it as much as we do!

Shoreline Sport is 50% Shaniko wool (Merino/Rambouillet blend), 25% Silk and 25% Linen. It will work up into a fabric that is a beautiful balance of softness, drape and sheen, and it’s a perfect yarn for creating spring/summer garments and shawls. The Linen in the blend softens as you knit and wear it over time, and the combination of fibres means the yarn will keep its structure and your stitches will stay defined! We’re loving it for this season’s trendy open-stitch knit and crocheted tops, as well as classic lightweight sweaters and shawls.

Sea Change Fibers is a small woman-owned business dedicated to sustainability and ethical practices. Owner Sarah carefully researches and sources her bases from sustainable fibre producers, focusing on the environmental impact of the products she is sourcing. All her bases feature fibres traceable from the pasture to the mill, and the dyeing process involves careful and sustainable use of both water and power.
