Must Make Monday: Snowdrop Hat and Mittens

Must Make Monday: Snowdrop Hat and Mittens

We’re in love with Wool & Pine’s latest patterns: the matching Snowdrop Hat and Mittens! Snowdrop offers a new take on traditional bobble and cable techniques to create a design that’s both modern and whimsical–and just in time for holiday gifting. The patterns feature a range of sizes to make the Snowdrop hat and mittens in children’s and adult sizes. Plus, the patterns offer both charts and written instructions. (We do love a good chart here in Space.)

The Snowdrop pair is a perfect match for the yarnistas’ favorite, Di Gilpin Lalland DK yarn. Lalland DK is 100% Scottish Lambswool that feels incredibly soft against the skin, perfect for hats and mittens. It also comes in both heathered neutral and saturated bright colors, so you’re sure to find just the right color for last-minute knitted gifts or something for yourself. Create a matching set or mix and match your colors. You can shop Di Gilpin Lalland DK in store and online!

Heather

A family friend taught Heather how to crochet when she was a child, and she taught herself how to knit about ten years later. She’s had a hook or needles in hand ever since. Heather makes whimsical amigurumi and blankets, but also makes socks, shawls, and sweaters to highlight gorgeous dyes and fibers. She’s excited to join the fibre space community and to help more folks tap into their creativity!
