Snow Sweater by Knitting for Olive

Snow Sweater by Knitting for Olive

Sometimes one of our brands will drop a pattern that we just know is going to a big hit. The Snow Sweater from Knitting for Olive just landed, and we have already seen a few of you grabbing yarn for it! Because our team has been focused on getting holiday sweaters done well before the holidays, we are extra excited about this one! There is even a kids version!

Snow Sweater is worked from the top down in the round with a circular yoke construction. It has a bit of stranded colorwork on the bottom of the sleeves (or the body of the sweater for the kid’s version) – just enough to create a wintry landscape but not more than a newer colorwork knitter can handle.  Like many of Knitting for Olive’s designs, you create your custom yarn fabric by holding together two strands – Merino and Soft Silk Mohair. Pairing two different yarn textures opens up a whole world of creative options for color:

Be sure to peruse Knitting for Olive’s Instagram for wonderful inspiration of Merino and Mohair combinations for this pattern.
