The summer is upon us, and it is incredibly hot this year! It is the perfect time to make a cropped tank to beat the heat. Inspired by California surfer culture, the Tubular Tank is ready to be your go-to top for the rest of the summer. The pattern dropped this week, and our team has been obsessed with the potential for color combos!
Knit from the bottom up in DK-weight; this pattern can be worked in just one color but is also designed as a marled top created by holding Dyed in the Wool together with a lace weight yarn. We are pairing Dyed in the Wool with shop favorite Knitting for Olive in Merino Fingering or Pure Silk for a lighter, luxurious feel:

Sizing and measurements:
Sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4)(5, 6, 7)(8, 9, 10), detailed below, tank top is designed to be worn with 10-12” of negative ease.
If you wish to make your tank longer, you’ll need approximately 20 (25, 25, 30)(30, 35, 40)(40, 45, 45) yards per additional inch

Stretched: 28 (32, 36, 40)(44, 48, 52)(56, 60, 64) inches
Unstretched: 18.75 (21.25, 24, 26.75)(29.25, 32, 34.75)(37.25, 40, 42.75) inches
Materials:
- Marled Design uses sport weight held with fingering weight to equal DK weight.
- Spincycle Yarns Dyed in the Wool: 358 (415, 480, 541)(603, 675, 740)(807, 886, 957) yards [2, (3, 3, 3)(4,4,4)(5,5,5) skeins] -AND-
- KFO Merino Fingering: [2, (2, 2, 2)(3,3,3)(3,4,4) skeins] -OR-
- KFO Pure Silk Fingering: [2, (2, 2, 2)(3,3,3)(3,4,4) skeins]
- 1×1 Ribbing: US 4 / 3.5 mm circular needles, 16-inch / 40 cm (neckline and armhole ribbing) or size needed to obtain gauge
- 2×2 Ribbing: US 5 circular needles, 16-inch / 40 cm and 30-inch / 76 cm or longer according to your size, or size needed to obtain gauge
