Must Make Monday: River Birch

Must Make Monday: River Birch

This drop shoulder slip-over caught our eye last week when the pattern dropped along with brand new colors of Manos Marla and Sami! River Birch by Deborah Newton offers a modern silhouette that can be worn as a stand-alone garment in warmer weather or an on-trend layering piece with a smidge of positive ease for colder seasons. The slip-stitch pattern is simple but gives the fabric depth and dimension.

Combined with Marla’s tweedy colors and Sami’s soft solid, this pattern offers a yarn-y game of hide-and-seek rather than a rigid geometrical form. And now that Marla and Sami have landed in space, it’s the perfect time to add it to your summer knitting queue.
