Hazel Knits Artisan Sock

This superwash fingering weight merino wool, custom-milled exclusively for Hazel Knits, has a tight twist, giving you a beautiful stitch definition. The 10% nylon provides added strength, making it perfect for socks, but in colors this pretty, it is a great choice for shawls, sweaters, and mittens as well.

Yarn details:

  • 90% superwash merino, 10% nylon
  • 400 yards, 120 grams (skeins put up by yardage, weight may have slight variance.)
  • US size 1-2 needle
  • 8 stitches per inch
*Listed gauge is suggested for sock knitting.

Recommended care:
Hand launder with mild, wool-friendly soap in tepid water. Lay flat to dry. While we recommend hand washing to preserve the color and life of your knitted or crocheted item, Artisan Sock may be machine washed on a gentle cycle and machine dried at low temperature.

Yarnista pattern picks:

We’ve selected some of seasonal projects that work in warmer weather (yes even in wool!) for both knitting and crochet to help you dream up some possible creations for your summer knitting queue.
