There’s nothing quite like a classic striped sweater. Always stylish, the perfect addition to any wardrobe, and somehow there’s always room for one more in the closet. For Must Make Monday, we’re playing with stripes to make our new favorite fall sweater.
Ilta by Veera Välimäki uses De Rerum Cyrano for a satisfyingly quick knit. Cyrano is one of our favorite yarns from De Rerum- this Aran weight merino works up quickly into some very satisfying projects. We are freshly restocked too! With a wide array of colors and very pleasing bounce to the yarn, Cyrano is a true joy to work with, and we can’t wait to see what combination you come up with.
Check out some of the stripe combinations and get inspired!

Notes
Ilta sweater is worked from the top down, shoulders are shaped with short rows for a good fit. The generous sizing makes this sweater lovely to wear, and the simple sweaters like these are always my favorites.
