We are excited to feature this very special project and kits this month. This shawl was designed in memory of a vivacious five year old named Braden James, who lost the battle to cancer. Each kit features bright rainbow hues because they were Braden’s favorite, and quite simply – because rainbows are awesome.
100% of the profits from this pattern will go to support the Braden James Fund, which focuses on addressing the deadliest pediatric brain cancer: Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). The Braden James fund strives to help families and children struggling with DIPG – to help these children play as kids for as long as possible, to help advocate for better access to critical care, and to support research for a cure.
