Just Landed – Julie Asselin Leizu

There’s a new hand dyed yarn line in space! Julie Asselin is a yarn company founded on a commitment to local and responsible production, as well as fair and equitable work. Based in Sherbrooke, Quebec, founders Julie and Jean-Francois have built their company on the values of Inspiration, Community, and Craftsmanship. With a goal of creating a space where all are welcome and celebrated for themselves, the yarns of Julie Asselin are vibrant and ready to inspire each project.
“We see it differently: going beyond your comfort zone is not enough. You should try to expand it and break down its borders. Going off the beaten track? Even better: create your own path.”
We have two of their yarns in space: Leizu Fingering and Leizu DK. Both are a luscious blend of superwash Merino and Silk, that give off a beautiful shine as you work.
