Just Landed: Manos Milo!

Our spring yarns have started to trickle in! Today Manos del Uruguay Milo has landed. This incredibly unique yarn is arriving just in time to inspire your spring knitting. Milo is a gorgeous single ply merino and linen blend.  The unique nature of the unbleached linen gives Milo a rustic yet elegant look, with its raw fibers and almost metallic shine. We love the drape of the finished fabric and find it perfect for shawls and lightweight tops.

Manos del Uruguay is one of our absolute favorite purveyors of yarn, with a unique mission to improve the lives of the Uruguay’s rural population of Women through handcrafts. Every hank of yarn has a tag with the artisan signature and the name of the village where the cooperative is located reminding that behind each handmade item, there is a woman, a story.
