For this week’s Must Make Monday, the yarnistas are chomping at the bit to pick colors for this size-inclusive (sizes ranging from 33.5”-70”!), classic drop shoulder sweater. The top down construction provides a pallet perfect for color blocking or playing with stripes. The 3/4 sleeves and slightly cropped body are on-trend, but easily adapted and customized to your preferred length. This sweater is the perfect transitional piece between cold nights and hot days, particularly when paired with De Rerum Natura Robinson. This DK / light worsted weight yarn is a special blend of organically grown Merino d’Arles wool and recycled cotton, dyed with natural dyes. This rainbow pastel pallet provides an inspiring backdrop for color blocking and stripes. We’ve laid out some color combinations below, but with this yarn the possibilities are almost endless.

For a traditional look, pair a cream (sucre glacé) background with a boating blue stripe (grand bleu)

For a sophisticated neutral look, pair loutre with light, nougat colored stripes

For a fun colorful splash, combine a background of azur with stripes comprised of citronnade

For a soft garden-party look, add sugar glacé white stripes to the warm, barbe e papa pink.
