The Yarnistas are thrilled that Hazel Knits Artisan Sock and Neighborhood Fiber Co. Organic Studio Sock are back in space! Both yarns come in a veritable rainbow of beautiful hand-dyed hues that will brighten up accessories, shawls, socks, and sweaters alike. Just in time for some vacation knitting.

Hazel Knits Artisan Sock

This superwash fingering weight merino wool, custom-milled exclusively for Hazel Knits, has a tight twist giving you beautiful stitch definition. The 10% nylon provides added strength making it perfect for socks, but in colors this pretty, it is a great choice for shawls, sweaters and mittens as well.

Yarn details:

  • 90% superwash merino, 10% nylon
  • 400 yards, 120 grams (skeins put up by yardage, weight may have slight variance.)
  • US size 1-2 needle
  • 8 stitches per inch
    *Listed gauge is suggested for sock knitting.

Recommended care:
Hand launder with mild, wool friendly soap in tepid water. Lay flat to dry.
While we recommend hand washing to preserved the color and life of your knitted or crocheted item, Artisan Sock may be machine washed on gentle cycle and machine dried at low temperature.

Neighborhood Fiber Co. Organic Studio Sock

Studio Sock is made with GOTS-certified organic wool. This yarn is a workhorse – machine-washable with a sturdy 8-ply construction. Each skein has enough yardage for the average sock, this tightly spun yarn is also excellent for fingering-weight shawl and sweater projects. We have two exclusive fibre space colorways in stock as well! King Street and Ziggy Stardust:
