Floatside by Wool & Pine
This week for Must Make Monday, we have lightweight tops on the brain! All the yarnistas were oohing and ahing over the Floatside Top by Wool & Pine. We love this top because of the cool geometric pattern using “floatside” colorwork, the latvian braid borders, and the scoop neck.Yarnista Alex came up with the brilliant idea to use Freia Minikins for the colorwork motif! These mini gradient skeins will give you an ombre effect in the colorwork, without having to use a bunch of mini skeins (hey, we’re always happy with less ends to weave in.) For the main color, we’ve chosen Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok Lite, as they have just launched new colors! With a palette of 21 colors to choose from, it’s easy to find the perfect complimentary color. Check out the pattern details, and some of the yarnista’s favorite color combos below.
