Style your Hand Knit Socks with the Shoe Hive!

Style your Hand Knit Socks with the Shoe Hive!

One of my favorite items to knit are socks. I almost always have a sock project on needles and with me. They are small and fit in most purses. Many of the patterns are easy to memorize and work on without paying much attention. And lastly, but most importantly, hand knit socks are gorgeous additions to your wardrobe. Despite being way down there on your feet, they can really elevate an outfit and even bring attention to a well detailed pair of shoes. I recently went off to the Shoe Hive to see what shoes they have right now that would pair well with my growing collection of hand knit socks. What I was really looking for were shoes with some amazing little details, and the Shoe Hive did not disappoint. Some of my favorite shoes brands are Veronica Beard, AGL and Paul Green because of the amazing attention to detail in their pieces. Here’s a few of my finds:

These shoes feature brass studs and a gorgeous pecan suede, and the style shows off the texture and gorgeous heel in this sock pattern.

I am really itching for a pair of Golden Goose sneaks. This pair has just a little bit of color on the tongue and lots of sparkle on the shoe! It’s a great pair for showing off the bright color of these socks.

The thick squishy leather straps on these sandals make them incredibly comfy to wear. Add a pair of loud striped socks, and they are perfect for both lounging around the house or walking the neighborhood on a chilly spring night.

The details in this snakeskin shoe are just gorgeous and are a wonderful pairing with the color in this handknit sock. They’d be equally as gorgeous with a yellow or charcoal grey sock.

Shoes: D938001 Sneaker by AGL

EEK! Where do I start with these shoes?! I was sold at the side zipper but the stripe of color around the shoe is an subtle but stunning detail that really makes these shine. I loved these with our custom color from Vesper yarns – “Across the Yarniverse.”

This suede and leather sneaker has just a touch of snakeskin print on the heel and suede and leather details. It’s a great neutral color to pair with spring inspired sock colors like this bright beachgrass shade.

The details on the heels of these flats are everything! I love these shoes with slouched hand knits socks and a cropped denim or khaki for spring.
