Just when you think Stephen West couldn’t possibly have yet another design that takes your breath away – he does it again. The yarnistas audibly gasped when the two designs for his Hiberknitalong 2020 were revealed. The hard part?- – choosing which one to knit first! Each of these shawls uses four skeins of fingering weight and requires only slipped stitches!
These are perfect for our new custom kits in Aria from Hazel Knits. Each kit features color combinations curated just for us by Wendee at Hazel Knits, on a brand-new yarn base. Aria is a gorgeous single-ply superwash Merino. This soft yarn knits up with tons of drape, and the colors are richly saturated.

Woven Chevrons by Stephen West
This bold and graphic triangular shawl is easier than it looks! An easy-to-memorize pattern repeat means a relaxing knit with tons of wow factor. An i-cord edge is the perfect finishing touch. It starts at the small end, so just keep repeating until it is the size you want, or you run out of yarn!
This geometric design will really pop in the bright colors of our “So You Want to be a Mermaid” or “Date Night at the Roller Rink” kits.
