Last fall we hosted a launch party for an amazing new yarn by Karida Collins of Neighborhood Fiber Co and designer Ann Weaver – Plied. It’s a gorgeous 100% wool yarn made from two plies of hand dyed wool that are then spun at the Harrisville mill. I had to get it on my needles. While it took me until the pandemic to finish the sleeves of my project, I am so excited by how this turned out. The pattern is Granito by Joji Locatelli. I used the color Eubie Blake. I love the pockets and other subtle details. It was surprisingly simple to knit as well. I have a feeling that this will be a go to this fall. It feels like a nice wool sweatshirt to pull on for a cool night!
