Summer is officially here, and so is the latest issue of Pom Pom Quarterly! The Summer 2020 issue is full of bright, cheerful designs inspired by the sun. Featuring a fun selection of tops, both knit and crochet, this issue will inspire you to create a handcrafted summer wardrobe for warmer days ahead!
Issue 33 contains 11 patterns: 7 tops and 2 shawl, plus a bag and a hair accessory. These pieces feature bold colors and textures – the perfect playful accents to a simple summer look. With an emphasis on plant fibers, these are pieces that you can wear out in the sun, or layer over your favorite lightweight dress.
As always, Pom Pom is committed to representation, and it is refreshing to see these styles modeled on curvier body types. In addition to the patterns, this issue also has a recipe for a simple handmade pasta (for all of doing more home cooking) and a crochet tutorial that will inspire you to give the hook a try.
Note from the Publisher: This issue has two covers, we just couldn’t decide on one this quarter! But don’t sweat, no matter which cover you receive, exactly the same wonderful content is inside.
