Just Landed! BC Garn Bio Shetland

Just Landed! BC Garn Bio Shetland

Our newest addition to our lightweight yarn selection is not only great for stitching, but also good for the environment and the sheep. BC Garn Bio Shetland is a 100% pure organic wool in a light fingering weight. It is a GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified, which is an international guarantee of sustainable manufacturing. To earn this certification, the producer must meet demands in relation to the dying process, handling of waste water, and energy usage, along with social and work related aspects of the manufacturing process.

Bio Shetland is soft and beautifully heathered. Each color contains many shades of the color, giving a gorgeous depth to your finished project. Bio Shetland is ideal for cables, lace and Fair Isle projects, and works equally well on a loom for weaving.
