Our spring yarns are starting to land in space. We are delighted to have received Manos del Uruguay Serena back to the shop! Like all Manos yarns, Serena is produced by a a fair trade cooperative in South America. This yarn is a blend of baby alpaca and pima cotton, making it a wonderful all season yarn for everything from scarves and wraps to summer tops. (And it is wool free for those with a lanolin allergy!) Due to the fiber blend and their kettle-dyeing process, each skein will have a heathered and stonewashed look. Try it out as a fingering, sport or even DK weight – it is quite versatile! Stop by and see a wonderful collection of designs in this yarn, now through the end of March.
