This week we will take an in depth look at one of the fabulous colors by Karida Collins and Neighborhood Fiber Co – Bolton Hill.
The color is named after a historic Baltimore neighborhood. Bolton Hill is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It features gorgeous restored 19th century town houses, tree lined streets, parks and fountains. Karida’s favorite thing about Bolton Hill is the wide park median along Eutaw Place. In autumn, the trees are a riot of colors, including the orange of the Bolton Hill colorway. Bolton Hill is also home to the University of Baltimore and the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). The dye staff at Neighborhood Fiber Co are MICA grads, and our very own Darian went to MICA!
