In 2018, indie magazines blew us away! From PomPom to Making, to Laine 7, each publication brought us innovative and widely popular patterns along with stories, recipes and lifestyle. This issue brings more inspired designs to get us through the rest of the winter and wile away those wet, slushy days. Featured designers include: ærke Bisschop-Larsen, Kiyomi Burgin, Aleks Byrd, Kristin Drysdale, Carol Feller, Whitney Hayward, Natasja Hornby, Dami Hunter, Renate Kamm,Meiju K-P, Alejandra Pont and a brioche collaboration with Nancy Marchant and Stephen West.
Laine No. 7, Kouta: Winter/Spring 2019 – $28
Here’s a taste of a few of the patterns we’re excited about in this issue. (Be sure to call or stop by to grab yours since previous issues have been flying out the door!)
Brioche Buddies wrap by Nancy Marchant and Stephen West
Nancy’s version is a two-color offering using Ulysse by De Rerum Natura (available in shop!) We love how the soft heathering effect the light and dark wool comes together in each of the rich colors! Stephen’s version uses one main color combined with four contrasts to give a beautiful color play that highlights his signature style.
Talla cowl by Dami Hunter
This playful, two-color fingering weight cowl is perfect end-of-winter warm up wear for an outdoor stroll or a day of errands! Go with neutrals for a subtle geometric accent or high-contrast for a colorful pop!
Eryza cardigan by K-P Meiju
This beautiful, drapey A-line cardi is ideal over a simple tee and features a combination of lofty mohair and Merino wool for a soft, cuddly knit to walk out in winter or warm up inside with a cup of tea until spring.
