Our yarnista team has decided to cast on for the Aries hat together this weekend, and they would like you to join them! They want to finish their hats and show them off in the store next weekend, July 14-15. Aries is a brand new design from the Spincycle Yarns team that features their new yarn – Dream State. It has just arrived to the shop, and we are eager to work with it! We’d be happy to ship you a kit if you’d like. Just give us a call.
Skills needed:
Aries is worked in the round on circular and double pointed needles. It also features basic fair isle (which is charted). This is a great first fair isle project, if you are brave enough to try on your own.
Materials list:
- Copy of Aries pattern
- US 6 (4 mm) 16” circular needle for brim
- US 8 (5 mm) 16” circular needle for main
- US 8 (5 mm) double pointed needles for crown
- Stitch Markers
- Two skeins in contrasting colors of Spincycle Dream State
- Optional Pom Pom (fur or made from the leftover yarn)
