Join fibre space for the Alexandria’s Fight for Freedom tour of Old Town. This 75-minute private walking tour will be led by Manumission Tours, a local company focused on leading cultural heritage tours to highlight Alexandria’s African American history. This tour begins at 10am on Saturday, April 14th.
Save the date for the Stitcher Takeover of Port City Brew! We will be filling Port City Brewing Company’s Tasting Room from 6-8:30 pm, loaded up with our stitching, on Wednesday, May 16th. Can’t wait to see you there!
We also have the Brooklyn Tweed Vale Trunk Show in space through April 1st. This collection features the beautiful entirely American laceweight yarn from Brooklyn Tweed, that is perfect for your spring and summer knitting when you just need something a bit lighter.
Even though the weather is warming up, who says we can’t enjoy a little luxury? We have the entire Tov II collection in space through April 8th. This collection features a variety of garments and accessories in both Tov and Tov DK for you to try on and use as you pick your colors.
Yearning for spring? We have the Blue Sky Fibers Organic Cotton trunk show in space until April 15th to help you get all of your spring projects planned out.

Treat yourself to a new skill this spring with our Introduction to Knitting or Introduction to Crochet classes!
Learn how to knit sweaters in the Top Down Raglan Sweater (Adult or Baby) class beginning on Tuesday, April 3rd. You’ll make a stylish and cozy sweater, all while learning now to read sweater patterns, utilize basic raglan sweater construction and knit in the round. $80.
Move beyond scarves and other flat projects with the Beanie Hat class on Friday, April 6th. This is a great second class option that will get you well on your way to your first hat. $50.
Interested in making adorable crocheted toys? Learn everything you need to know about amigurumi crochet in the Amigurumi Sea Turtle class starting on Saturday, April 7th while making these adorable little critters. $80.
Learn to knit a fun striped shawl in the Advanced Beginner Lace Shawl – Usonian class starting on Sunday, April 8th. Taught by the shawl’s designer, Dee O’Keefe, you’ll learn all about knitting lace and texture, all while maintaining neat edges. $65.
Looking to expand your fiber crafting to weaving? Check out our Introduction to Tapestry Weaving class starting on Wednesday, April 11th to learn all the basics while creating your very own artistic wall hanging. $80.
