Upcoming Events!

Our dear friend Olga Buraya-Kefelian will be teaching a slew of workshops this winter here in space! Olga will be offering both her Geometric Colorwork Hat workshop and Magical Brioche Cowl workshop on Saturday, February 17th, and will teach you the differences between brioche, tuck stitch and Fisherman’s Rib in her Brioche and Beyond (Armwarmers) class on Saturday, March 3rd.

Have you picked your projects for the 2018 Ravellenics yet? Join Team fibre space for this fun stitch event that coincides with the Olympics. All of the details on how to join in are in our Ravelry group and here’s another post with some fun project ideas. Remember, the goal is to simply challenge yourself!

Coming Up in Our Classroom!

Treat yourself to a new skill this winter with our Introduction to Knitting or Introduction to Crochet classes!

Move beyond scarves and other flat projects with the Beanie Hat class on Monday, February 12th. This is a great second class option that will get you well on your way to your first hat. $50.

Beanie Hat

Learn the basics of colorwork while make a statement pirate-themed hat complete with little skulls and crossbones in the Colorwork Hat – Pirates! class. Class begins on Tuesday, February 13th. $65.

The Fair Isle Fingerless Mitts class starting on Thursday, February 15th is all about cuteness. Learn to knit Fair Isle in the round while making adorable heart fingerless mitts. $80.

Dive into the delicate world of lace in the Beginner Lace Cowl class starting on Sunday, February 18th. You’ll learn all the basics of knitting lace in a quick “first lace” project. $65.

If you’re ready to expand your crochet skill set, check out the Lace Wrap in Crochet class beginning on Monday, February 19th. This class will teach you how to do lace crochet and read lace crochet charts, all while creating a beautiful wrap. $65.

Go deeper into knitting two color brioche with strategically placed increases and decreases, creating a very cool project like a pro, in the Advanced Brioche class starting on Wednesday, February 21st. $65.

Valentine’s Day

Grab your favorite yarn and a cute pompom maker to make the cutest, most lovable little Valentines imaginable. They’re a great way to stash bust while showing all of your friends and family how much you love them.
