Tools Tuesday: Woolbuddy Dryer Balls

Tools Tuesday: Woolbuddy Dryer Balls

Your yarnistas are here to help you through every stage of a fiber project, from choosing patterns and yarn, all the way through the blocking and showing off your hard work. That includes long term care of your finished garments and accessories, as well as the rest of your wardrobe. This week, that includes featuring a new arrival to space: Woolbuddy Dryer Balls.

If you’re new to dryer balls, they’re fairly simple: super densely felted wool balls you toss in your dryer in place of dryer sheets. The balls help absorb moisture and shorten your drying time, soften fabrics, and generally perform laundry magic. Unlike commercial dryer sheets, wool dryer balls all natural, with no harsh chemicals or synthetic smells, making these a perfect alternative for those with sensitive skin.

As a little secret, I like to include a set of these dryer balls when I gift baby blankets. Sometimes with a small bottle of Soak for a snuggly laundry gift bag.

Woolbuddy Dryer Balls are made from 100% New Zealand wool, and will last you through hundreds of laundry loads. With six in the bag, you can use all for a large load of laundry, or just three for smaller loads. They come with a handy carrying bag so you won’t lose them between laundry days.
