to make any of these hand made gifts before the holidays!
As the holidays get closer, we are putting together our favorite gift projects to help you figure out your holiday gifting plan. Here are our five featured projects for this week:
1. Bousta Beanie Hat
Grab one of our Bousta Beanie Kits and a faux fur pom pom! We have all three colors in stock right now. $55 each and made from the amazing Capital Luxury Sport (70% Wool, 20% Cashmere, 10% Nylon). Total of 555 yards in each kit. Pom poms and pattern are separate.
2. 21 Color Slouch or Mitts
This fun kit from Blue Sky Alpacas gives you a bit of yarn in each of the 21 colors of Woolstok. We stock both the slouch or the mitts. $26.50 for hat, $33.90 for mitts.
3. Juko by Olga Buraya-Kefelian in mYak Worsted
The Juko pattern by local designer Olga Buraya-Kefelian is a wonderful double brioche cowl pattern that can be done in one or two colors. She has designed it for mYak 100% baby Yak yarn. The solid color takes 3-4 skeins and the two color version requires 2 skeins of each color. This luxuriously soft cowl would be an amazing gift, and the stitch pattern is interesting yet easy to memorize. mYak is $27 per skein.
4. The World’s Simplest Mittens by Tin Can Knits
One of my favorite designers for simple yet beautiful pieces is Tin Can Knits. Her World’s Simplest Mittens pattern delivers with a simple design in sizes ranging from toddler to an adult large. The pattern is written for every gauge of yarn from fingering to chunky! I love this pattern in the Fiberists Audubon Worsted ($25 per 200 yard skein) and will be tucking a pair in the kiddo’s stocking this year. She requested the Amethyst (purple) seen below but we have over 25 colors in stock in both semi solid and variegated.
5. Secret Paths Crochet Gradient Shawl
We have so many wonderful gradient kits in the shop right now as well as Freia Ombre Fingering. Grab a kit or a cake of Freia for this fun and quick crochet shawl. The pattern is free on Ravelry.
