Upcoming Events!
If you feel like you sock knitting skills aren’t quite up to snuff or are just interested in expanding your sock skill set, check out our Sock Knitting Workshop on Saturday, October 14th from 1-5pm with Holly. This workshop covers techniques for starting and finishing both top-down and toe-up socks, as well a variety of heels and how to substitute them into your favorite patterns.
Join us on Friday, November 3rd for the first Stitch at the Movies event in the new space! We’ll be watching Birdcage starting around 7pm. Feel free to grab a seat around 6 or 6:30 and don’t forget to bring a bite to eat and your current WIP.
The majority of our Wool Immersion weekend is sold out, but a few workshops still have a handful of open spaces. Choose Your Own Arrangement – Cabled Hat with Norah Gaughan have openings on Sunday, November 12th from 9am-noon and 2-5pm. Double Brioche Hat with Olga Buraya-Kefelian has open slots also on Sunday, November 12th from 9am-1pm and 2pm-6pm. These workshops are a great opportunity to be part of the retreat and take classes from some fabulous designers.

Treat yourself to a new skill this fall with our Introduction to Knitting or Introduction to Crochet classes!
The Entrelac Scarf – Purling Backwards course is a great intro to the technique of purling backwards (sure to speed up your knitting) all while learning the unique art of entrelac. This course begins on Sunday, October 15th and you have the option of knitting a scarf or wrap. $65.
Winter is coming, so be ready with a pair of snuggly mittens. Learn how to work in the round using double points while mastering mitten shaping in the Introduction to Mittens course beginning on Sunday, October 15th. $80.
The Jimi Shawl class starting on Sunday, October 15th is a great beginner shawl class with the designer, Dee O’Keefe. Learn a variety of useful techniques, including increases, basic lace and striping. $65.
Learn basic crochet garment construction while making a stylish child’s pullover in the Children’s Crochet Pullover class starting on Thursday, October 19th. You’re little one is sure to love this top and you’ll greatly add to your crochet skillset. $65.
Learn how to work lace and the basics of bottom-up sweater construction in the Lace Cardigan with Short Row Sleeves class starting on Tuesday, October 24th. You’ll end up with a perfect fall cardigan while learning a bunch of techniques. $80.
Move beyond scarves and other flat projects with the Beanie Hat class on Tuesday, October 24th. This is a great second class option that will get you well on your way to your first hat. $50.
Short rows need not be intimidating. The Short Row (Aggregate) Shawl class teaches you how to do short rows that give your knitting some dimension. Armed with two colors, be prepared to make a fun and modern shawl. Class begins on Wednesday, October 25th. $65.
Learn to knit stranded color work in the round with ease in the Intro to Fair Isle Cowl class starting on Wednesday, October 25th. This is an ideal first Fair Isle project that really lets you play around with color. $65.
Go deeper into knitting two color brioche with strategically placed increases and decreases, creating a very cool project like a pro, in the Advanced Brioche class starting on Thursday, October 19th. $65.
