We’re always on the look out for fun and exciting new tools to fill our project bags, which is why we’re so excited to welcome Katrinkles Mini Tools to space. With a background in jewelry design from RISD, Katy Westcott began making her own shawl pins and buttons to adorn her work. Soon after, she founded Katrinkles at the intersection of jewelry and textiles, producing beautiful and whimsical laser cut tools and buttons for all your fiber craft needs.
Working with bamboo and alder wood, Katrinkles creates beautiful, tough tools out of sustainable materials. You may already have one of her products; we’ve been carrying her charming fox needle gauge for ages. Now you can add one of her mini tools to your collection!
Laser cut from alder, which features a natural sparkle in the wood, we now carry two helpful tools for reminders on the go. The Kitchener stitch instructions can be with you whenever and wherever you need to graft live stitches to finish a projects, while the wraps per inch tool comes with a pre-cut measure and key to determine the gauge of your mystery yarns. Use the ball chain loop to attach these tools to the inside of your project bag, your key chain, or wherever else you need a quick reminder.
